Pure Wool Bolster
This bolster brings the natural beauty of Devon into your home. Made from our farm's Devon Closewool yarn with complementary British yarn accents, this particular cushion offers a subdued palette that works with both traditional and contemporary interiors. Handcrafted locally, this 80cm x 30cm bolster combines rustic charm with practical comfort.
Natural support where you need it
The duck down and feather filling in this bolster creates a firm yet yielding support. Its substantial 80cm length makes it ideal as a back cushion when reading in bed, or as an accent piece that doubles as a neck support on your sofa.
Wool that works with your body
Natural wool regulates temperature and wicks away moisture. On cool evenings, it retains warmth; during warmer weather, its breathable properties help maintain comfort without overheating.
Practical elegance
The natural linen backing on this bolster provides a textural contrast to the wool front while adding durability. Its hidden zip fastening allows for easy cover removal when cleaning becomes necessary while maintaining the cushion's clean lines.
A piece of Devon countryside
The wool in this bolster comes directly from our Salcombe farm sheep. Their fleece, shorn each spring, is processed in Yorkshire's historic mills, where centuries of textile expertise ensure the highest quality yarn production. The wool then returns to Devon for final crafting. The natural character of the wool shows subtle variations that speak to its authentic origins.

The wool for this bolster comes from Devon Closewool sheep we raise on our Salcombe farm. Our sheep receive individual attention and care, resulting in high-quality fleece with character and durability. After shearing, the wool travels to Yorkshire where skilled spinners blend it with other British Closewool fleeces to transform it into yarn using methods refined over generations. The bolster itself is crafted by hand near Kingsbridge, just 7 miles from our farm, ensuring attention to detail at every stage.
